Reliable Mechanical Bonding In-Ovation C employs a proprietary process to form strong, undercut bonding nubs on the bottom of the bracket base. These provide excellent anchoring points for the adhesive, resulting in a bond that is 100% mechanical and debonds easily after treatment. Straight Wire Technology A true straight wire appliance is one in which all the brackets have been designed to guide teeth into their desired positions with a preformed wire. Spring Clip The self-ligating clip extends fully through a vertical channel in the bracket body, enhancing the structural integrity of the clip. A unique rhodium treatment process provides a low-sheen surface for reduced visibility and enhanced aesthetics. Easy Opening and Closing The clip opens easily when pressure is applied occlusally to the gingival sphere using the Engage-C. This is the primary method for opening and closing the clip is the gingival sphere. If unable to access the gingival sphere you can also utilize the Opin notch on the facial surface of the clip applying gentle pressure occulsally with amini scaler. The clip can be closed with aninstrument or simple finger pressure on the incisal curve. Triple Chamfered Slot Walls Slot walls are beveled outward, facilitating wire engagement and reducing the chance of the archwire binding or crimping. Disto–Gingival Dimple A color-code on the disto-gingival tie wing provides immediate identification of the tooth for which the bracket is intended. A matching colored removable site gauge is also in the slot for position orientation. Smooth Swept Tie Wings Smooth, swept tie wings help to reduce occlusal interference while increasing patient comfort. Adequate undercuts allow easy anchoring for elastic chains or the fastening of color ties at the patient’s request.
